Our services include individual therapy, nursing home placement and elderly day treatment, which is a structured, ongoing program available in Lauderdale, Kemper and Smith counties. Established in 1970, Weems Community Mental Health Center has offices in each of the nine counties that make up Region Ten of the Mississippi Community Mental Health System. S. Weems is sensitive to the needs of our local elderly community, and we have staff that is able to address the special needs of the elderly. The Weems Main Center is located at 1415 College Drive in Meridian. We understand the difficulties present today, such as stress, depression, other mental health disorders, substance abuse, family problems, or children's issues. Weems Community Mental Health Center serves Region 10 of the Mississippi community mental health system.
